Apple to halt US sales of Series 9, Ultra 2 smartwatches on patent dispute

Apple said on Monday it would pause sales of its Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches in the United States from this week, as it deals with a patent dispute over the technology that enables the blood oxygen feature on the devices.

All Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that were stolen from the peer-to-peer trading platform NFT Trader have been returned following the payment of a bounty.

The hack, which occurred on December 16, resulted in the theft of NFTs valued at nearly $3 million. The attacker, through public messages, attributed the original exploit to another user and demanded ransom payments for the return of the NFTs, stating, "if you want the monkey nft back, then you need to pay me a bounty, which is what I deserve. 1 BAYC = 30 ETH 1 MAYC = 6 ETH you need to pay me %10 ETH for my work if you have a BAYC with me then you need to pay me 3 ETH if it's a BAYC and a MAYC then 3.6 ETH."

Generative AI technology can create more jobs than it is expected to eliminate, Tech Mahindra's outgoing CEO said, even as its ability to wreck the job market has been discussed widely on social media sites.

"The use cases of Generative AI are still being defined, which means that it has the potential to create more job opportunities in the future. Undoubtedly, the possibilities are just opening, and there is more to come," CP Gurnani told Reuters in an interview.
